1. About this platform

Dastarkhwan is a home-food marketplace that connects verified home chefs and city kitchens with customers. This site is a demo prototype; menus, chefs, prices and statistics shown here are illustrative.

2. Orders and pricing

All prices are in Pakistani Rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices may change with market rates for chicken, mutton, dairy and vegetables.

An order is confirmed only after we send a confirmation on WhatsApp or SMS with an order ID.

3. Coupons and offers

Coupons apply to eligible items only, cannot be combined, and have a minimum order value. We may withdraw an offer at any time or void coupons used through automated or fraudulent means.

4. Monthly mess plans

Mess pricing depends on headcount, cycle length and menu tier. Volume discounts are applied automatically. Plans are billed per cycle in advance and can be paused with 24 hours notice.

5. Chef and partner obligations

Chefs and partners must maintain the hygiene, portion and packaging standards defined in their onboarding agreement and accept monthly audits. Violations can lead to suspension without payout for affected orders.

6. Allergens and dietary information

Dishes are prepared in shared kitchens that handle dairy, nuts, gluten and eggs. We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment; tell us about allergies before ordering.

7. Acceptable use and liability

Do not misuse the platform for spam, abusive behaviour towards riders or chefs, or fraudulent refund claims. Our liability for any order is limited to the value of that order.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, with disputes subject to the courts of Lahore.
